Day 1 – Delhi
Our driver shall meet you at Indira Gandhi International Airport. Ride into the car and get transferred to your hotel.
After some leisure, we shall start the Delhi Sightseeing Tour. Start the journey with some remarkable sites in New Delhi.
First visit India Gate, a beautiful monument built in honour of Indian Armed Forces. The tall gate has the names of Indian martyrs engraved on its walls. Surrounded by a huge garden, the India Gate is also a great place for a small picnic.
Drive past Government Buildings including the Rashtrapati Bhavan and the Parliament House en route to Old Delhi. In Old Delhi, visit Humayun’s Tomb, dedicated to second Mughal emperor Humayun. The tomb is important for its rich history and beautiful architecture.
Post visiting these places, return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2 – Delhi to Agra
After having a healthy breakfast, check out from your hotel and drive towards Agra. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and rest for some time.
Later, we shall visit the Taj Mahal, a beautiful monument built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaj Mahal. The monument is quoted as the Symbol of Love and is counted among the Seven Wonders of the World.
Later, visit Baby Taj, a replica of Taj Mahal. Also known as the Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daula, it’s a historical monument popular for its religious and architectural value.
Next destination in the list is Agra Fort, a massive fort built by Mughal Emperor Akbar. The fort served as the capital of the Mughal Empire before it was converted into a museum. It houses quite-a-few belongings of the erstwhile rulers.
Return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3 – Agra to Jaipur
Early morning, reach Taj Mahal to enjoy a Sunrise View of Taj. When the fresh rays of the Sun fall on this crystal white monument, the beauty of Taj multiplies. It’s one of the most beautiful sights in the world.
Later return to your hotel for breakfast. Check out from your hotel and drive towards Jaipur. Enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri, and ancient town established during the Mughal Empire.
Fatehpur Sikri was established when Mughal Emperor Akbar decided to move his capital near Agra. he built a town with all facilities, beautiful monuments and everything else. However, a severe draught hit the town a few years later that forced the residents to move away. Even today, you may see the ruins of those stunning monuments here.
Continue driving towards Jaipur. We shall midway for lunch. Upon reaching Jaipur, check into your hotel and rest for some time.
In evening, we shall visit Hawa Mahal, a beautiful monument built in the shape of a crown. Nearby located is City Palace, the residence of the erstwhile rulers of Jaipur and a museum. Jantar Mantar is another popular monument that is a solar observatory and largest of its kinds in India.
We shall also visit some temples including the Govind Dev Ji Temple and Birla Mandir. In evening, return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 4 – Departure
In morning, enjoy a healthy breakfast in your hotel then check out. Drive towards Amber, a town located 11km from Jaipur on Jaipur-Delhi road.
Amber Fort is one of the strongest forts in India and has remained the capital of the Kachhwaha Dynasty for many centuries. The fort houses many temples, halls, courtyards and rooms, depicting the prosperity and strength of the erstwhile rulers.
After visiting Amber Fort, depart for Delhi. Upon arrival to Delhi, our driver shall transfer you to your hotel or airport. The Golden Triangle Tour of 4 Days ends here.
